Santa Clara Mission was in full bloom for Nick and Erikas wedding. The purple flowers, fragrant roses and ample Bay Area sunshine matched the vibrant mood of the day for these two upbeat, beaming lovers. For two Disney lovers, their day couldn’t have been more movie-magical.
Nick and Erika are like a Disney couple–by that I mean she is a princess and he is a prince. They are absolute sweethearts with a ton of style, and their Santa Clara Mission wedding was right on vibe.
I LOVE shooting at Santa Clara because of it’s gorgeous grounds, awesome staff at the Adobe Lodge and not to mention because my brother lives walking distance from the university, so that’s an even bigger plus for me!
Please oogle over Nick and Erika’s cute cute smiles towards each other and the gorgeous pops of color and liveliness they brought to their day at Santa Clara. Starting the morning at the Adobe Lodge at Santa Clara, we got to take our time getting ready just with Erika’s close fam. When it came time for the First Look, I was nearly in tears myself at Nick’s reaction. You could just tell on his face how happy he was to see Erika. We all love some man tears! The gorgeous purple flowers of the tree in the Santa Clara lot is my FAVORITE backdrop for portraits because it pretty much works any time of day in any light scenario. But really, you can’t go wrong because the Santa Clara campus is littered with gardens and beautiful buildings that make any wedding photos totally stunning.
I’m a sucker for intimate wedding parties and it really felt like everyone got to spend a lot of quality time together before going into the ceremony. From there it was time to get married and party time in the Adobe Lodge gardens! Can’t get enough of the pink party lighting either! What a time!
